4. Objectives
1) To contribute to friendship and goodwill between Japan and Korea through martial arts exchange.
2) To deepen friendship among Korean and Japanese martial artists and martial arts practitioners and contribute to the development of martial arts as culture.
3) To contribute through martial arts to peace, friendship, goodwill, and cultural development in both countries.
5. Participating and Invited Organizations
1) Korea: 20 participants from four organizations representing Taekkyeon, Seonmudo, Pungryudo, and Jeongdosul.
2) Japan: Keio Gijuku Mita Karate Club, Aikido Kobayashi Dojo, Goju-ryu Karatedo Seikikan, ITF Taekwondo Hwarang Park Mu Kwan, and other organizations to be confirmed.
6. Detailed Schedule
Thursday, October 1, 2026
12:00 Arrival at Narita Airport, Japan, of 20 members of the Federation of Korean Traditional Martial Arts.
Transportation: Park Vehicle 1, Volvo (5 passengers); Park Vehicle 2, Premacy (5 passengers); Yabe vehicle, Odyssey (5 passengers); Umeda vehicle, MPV (5 passengers).
15:00 Visit to the Kodokan Judo Institute.
Hotel check-in: Toyoko Inn Toda-koen.

17:00 Depart from the hotel.
18:00–21:30 Participate in the Thursday practice of the Keio Gijuku University Mita Karate Club, followed by a martial arts exchange and dinner gathering.
21:30 Depart for Toyoko Inn Toda-koen; arrive at 22:30.

09:00 Free day.
Saturday, October 3, 2026
09:00–12:00 Observe the traditional Taekwondo promotion examination conducted by the participating martial arts organizations (optional).
13:00–16:30 The 7th Korea–Japan Traditional Martial Arts Practitioners Exchange (Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture).
17:00 Welcome reception hosted by the Omiya Dojang of Taekwondo Park Mu Kwan.
20:00 Conclusion.

08:30 Depart from the hotel.
10:30 Visit Koma Shrine, including the tomb of King Jakko of Goguryeo.
13:00–16:00 Koma Shrine Budo Festival (martial arts demonstrations).
17:00 Farewell dinner hosted by Koma Shrine.
Monday, October 5, 2026
08:00 Depart for Narita Airport for the return journey.
